Boys are expensive

I've decided that it's a good thing that boys won't cost as much when they are teenagers like girls with their clothes, shoes, make-up, hair, etc. because they are certainly more expensive in the medical department. Here is Coleman's latest injury.

You can see the fracture in the long bone of the second toe (how's that for medical terminology?) He was doing parkour (look it up) in the family room, flew over the chair and landed on top of his foot. We kept him home from school today with it iced and elevated, but by this evening I decided that it needed to be x-rayed. Sure enough, it's broken. Just in time for Disneyland.

OUCH!!! Do I get to look forward this with our son? He is seven and tearing up his clothes and shoes. What is Parkour and how can I avoid it?

All traceurs go through some minor injuries like this. Coleman is a cool kid.

That stinks! I'm so sorry that this happened now. Maybe Disney can wait until he's better! DIsney isn't moving right?

When is your Disneyland trip? Did it already happen? Hope Coleman is doing well. I have a new nephew named Coleman now too. My brother thinks it sounds tough and outdoorsy(camping equipment connection, I guess). Take care, I hope you enjoyed all the Christmas decor at Disneyland. I've never seen it and am a bit jealous.
