Pugs

Our neighbors have pug puppies, so needless to say, our kids are crazy in love with them. The first thing Claire said when I get there is, "They're selling them, Mom!" Then I get that look of pleading, the I-would-love-this-puppy-till-the-day-I-die look. So I asked Samantha, our neighbor, to tell Claire how much she would be selling them for. When Claire heard $500, there was no need for me to go into the oft-repeated mantra of "I don't need any more poop to clean up" that she knows by heart. She's old enough now that she understands money somewhat. Enough said. But they sure are cute! I don't know how I didn't get any pictures of Anson with the puppies. He kept picking them up and carrying them around with this cute look on his face--like he looks at babies. I'm sure we'll be over there every day until they're all sold, so I'll have to get a picture of him.
