It's actually marker. He used two different ones, similar colors. One was washable, one wasn't. Luckily the one on his face was washable. Yes, I was lucky it wasn't all over his clothes. Thanks for helping me focus on the positive :)
When I have a day like this I also have to look for the special art on walls or furniture-count your blessings if it was all on him!
