The "finally" isn't necessarily for the fact that I'm late in posting, it's that the kids FINALLY got to go to school! There was a long drama with getting them released from Fresno School District. When that finally happened and I thought we were home free, we had to wait to be accepted by Sanger District. So the kids missed the first 7 days of school--can we say bored? But they are all settled in and are loving John Wash Elementary. Ellie was the only one I actually got a picture of 'cause my camera battery was dead when the big kids left for school. Boy was she excited to start Kindergarten!
She was also a bit nervous so we did a fancy hairstyle to help her feel happy. She was a little worried and didn't quite know what to do, but by the end of the day she was ecstatic. She said, "can I go to school tomorrow?" Hopefully that attitude keeps up!

Yes Jill, Mr. Sever is their principal. Knowing the principal has given them a bit of an "in" and made it a comfortable transition.
I'm glad they were able to go to school there...I was going to ask you how that other school they were at was working out. Now I see if obviously didn't. I hope they feel more comfortable here.
Ellie looks ADORABLE! What a cutie pie. How did you do her hair like that? I need some new hair do ideas for Arden.
